Hotel Seruni Puncak

Stayed here for one night based on my in-laws friends recommendation and on the fact that Puncak seems to lack decent hotels to stay at. Novus Giri was on my top list but it seemed too far.

Hotel Seruni has its own website but for some reason none of the phone numbers listed worked. And if it did, no one picked up. So we decided to just show up and get a room on the spot.

(+)
The room was spacious and clean. We liked the shower and big TV.
Outstanding view from our balcony and the pool
Huge hotel with lots of facilities for kids
Located very near Taman Safari

Decoration not exactly my style, they had a naked lady standing lamp in the room... My toddler kept saying 'milk milk' when he saw it.
Bad service considering I couldn't even get them on the phone to book, and they charge you if you want an extra blanket
Breakfast time was like a market, packed with people and total chaos, people couldn't get tables, and they ran out of food fast
The hotel overall has about 700 rooms.... So imagine how crowded the pools can be.
Oh and the pool water is fridge temperature.....

Tip: The new rooms are located on the 4th floor of Seruni 3 (room 430 and above I believe), so request for those rooms if you want newer rooms. I think they're called Deluxe Salak. They cost Rp. 800-900 thousand depending if it's a holiday or not.
